I successfully downgraded my v3c phone following the instructions at what’s bruin. I used PST instead of RSD Lite.
Everything seemed to work well. I was able to pair the phone with my Mac and browse the filesystem via OBEX. This should be a nice improvement over using Motorola Phone Tools on my Windows machine.
Now I have to see what issues the older firmware introduced. I’m considering having Verizon upgrade the phone to the latest firmware and hopefully it won’t disable OBEX again.
